The Bridge Emergency Shelter has been approved as an Enterprise Zone Contribution Project by the Colorado Economic Development Commission (EDC) on November 8th. This designation allows all donor contributions of a $200 or more to be eligible for a 25% state tax credit on cash donations, and a 12.5% state tax credit on in-kind donations.

With a $500 gift to The Bridge through E-Zone, you would see a 25% return via State Tax Credit, a 28% return from Federal Tax deduction. In other words, you would receive a total savings/return of around $290.

Soups Of The World - February 2013
Thanks to everyone who made the 6th annual Soups of the World a GREAT success! This years event broke previous years records with attendance and donations. We had about 150 guest at the event who helped raise almost $4,500 which was $900 more than last year. The excited crowed packed Grace Kitchen which is a part of St. Barnabas Episcopal Church. Volunteer served 5 different soups that were made by community members. About 15 volunteers helped serve coleslaw, bread, crackers, drinks and condiments. After dinner, the always lively dessert auction began with Larry Don Suckla serving as the auctioneer. Cakes, brownies, cheesecake, cookies and homemade ice cream were all big hits at the auction. This year the auction even included a surprise item. The crowd watched with excitement as that item went for $360. Overall, a good time was had by all and Soups was a stunning success for yet another year. We are so grateful to all who came out to support the Bridge!

Rockslide Music Fest 2012 Benefits The Bridge!
Through the generosity of Rockslide, the organizing band for the 3rd Annual Music Fest, The Bridge Shelter was the recipient of all donations received at the gate and from the raffles. Thank you to all who participated. Everyone had a great time and we look forward to being a part of this in 2013.
